Diabolical Things Nigerian Yahoo Boys Do To Get Wealthy
At Least They Think They Work!
According to the Bible, The love of money is the root of all evil. This part of the scripture points to the extent Yahoo Boys (internet fraudsters) go in order to defraud their victims.
Yahoo Yahoo (internet fraud) has become rampant among Nigerian youths and many of these fraudsters now engage in rituals for their illegitimate business to boom. Yahoo boys who engage in rituals are called Yahoo plus – and these group of fraudsters can be seen in every nook and cranny of Nigerian, and in fact, all of African now.
This is a perfect example of the “Lord of the Flies” mentality. These scammers are evolving into a separate society with a society. Their practices and beliefs are unique unto themselves. However, always remember that the bulk of Nigerian scammers are actually workers in the corporate cartels and are not Yahoo Yahoo. The Yahoo Boys are the lower level or independent thugs that represent no more than about 10% to 15% of all the scammers in the region. These are also the ones that are most easily arrested because they stand out and are more easily identified.
The Diabolical Yahoo Plus Rituals
1. Eating Human Faeces:
Yahoo Plus eat feces with bread in the form of a sandwich. It was reported that a lady once overheard her ex-boyfriend in a conversation with a friend who listened to him narrate his experience while eating the mixture which is believed to be one of the rites he needed to fulfill in a quest for money.
2. Barking Once In A Month As Part Of A Money Ritual:
This is a type of ritual some of them do that requires them to bark like a dog. There is a video of a Yahoo Boy who was barking like a dog while his friends watched and laughed at him.
In the background, his friends cheered him on, saying “owo de” which means “Money has arrived.”
3. ‘Oshole’ – The Power Of Compulsion:
This is a type of ritual that empowers a Yahoo Plus to command his victims, otherwise known as “clients,” to do whatever he wants.
The “client” cannot decline whatever he or she is asked to do, and these fraudsters use this type of ritual to defraud them of a lot of money.
4. Wiping A Woman’s “Private Parts” With Towel After Sex:
Yahoo Plus also make use of females in the quest for money, by wiping moisture from a woman’s body after sex. This is then used in a ritual.
There is a lot that could happen to any woman who falls victim of this evil act by a Yahoo Plus believer, and many have died because of it.
5. Killing One’s Nephew For Money Rituals:
Yahoo Boys who engage in rituals for the purpose of making money could be told to bring forth their nephew for the ritual.
Tunde Owolabi, who was captured as he crouched beside the corpse of a little boy reportedly 7 years old, killed the child as a part of his Yahoo Plus ritual.
These are just some of the basic rituals that Yahoo Boys go through in their evil belief that they bring wealth.
Here Is The Narrative From One Yahoo Plus Scammer In His Own Words:
“You may not believe me but it is true. Those who are into yahoo plus use charm to hypnotize their victims. This is because the ordinary yahoo no longer yields the desired result. Our targets are getting wiser and no longer fall prey. When I noticed that I was not making any headway in yahoo business, I decided to inquire from some of my friends who were in same business but were living better off. To my surprise, I was made to understand that the in-thing was yahoo plus. I decided to embark on a journey to Benin Republic in the company of Chuks, Odinakachukwu and Chionye. There, we met a herbalist who told us to buy three live cocks and other items which he used to prepare some concoction for us. After that, we were asked to stand in front of the shrine, while the herbalist chanted incantations that would enhance our success in yahoo plus. As we left for Nigeria, we were given some concoction which the herbalist said were prepared with human parts. We were asked to put the concoction in our mouths whenever we wanted to type or discuss with our victims. But when I got home, I became restive. I remembered my mum’s admonition never to go into anything fetish but to serve the almighty God. I kept the concoction away and watched as events unfolded. Three months later, one of us Chuks, made 3000 dollars .But Odinakachuckwu lost his younger brother who went to use his laptop. The instruction of the herbalist was that no one except him should use his laptop. Just as we were smarting from that, Chionye lost his girlfriend. I decided to quit at that point because I did not want anyone to die on my account. I am therefore appealing to those I have defrauded through yahoo yahoo to forgive me.”

A Note About Labeling!
We often use the term ‘scam victim’ in our articles, but this is a convenience to help those searching for information in search engines like Google. It is just a convenience and has no deeper meaning. If you have come through such an experience, YOU are a Survivor! It was not your fault. You are not alone! Axios!
A Question of Trust
At the SCARS Institute, we invite you to do your own research on the topics we speak about and publish, Our team investigates the subject being discussed, especially when it comes to understanding the scam victims-survivors experience. You can do Google searches but in many cases, you will have to wade through scientific papers and studies. However, remember that biases and perspectives matter and influence the outcome. Regardless, we encourage you to explore these topics as thoroughly as you can for your own awareness.
Statement About Victim Blaming
Some of our articles discuss various aspects of victims. This is both about better understanding victims (the science of victimology) and their behaviors and psychology. This helps us to educate victims/survivors about why these crimes happened and to not blame themselves, better develop recovery programs, and to help victims avoid scams in the future. At times this may sound like blaming the victim, but it does not blame scam victims, we are simply explaining the hows and whys of the experience victims have.
These articles, about the Psychology of Scams or Victim Psychology – meaning that all humans have psychological or cognitive characteristics in common that can either be exploited or work against us – help us all to understand the unique challenges victims face before, during, and after scams, fraud, or cybercrimes. These sometimes talk about some of the vulnerabilities the scammers exploit. Victims rarely have control of them or are even aware of them, until something like a scam happens and then they can learn how their mind works and how to overcome these mechanisms.
Articles like these help victims and others understand these processes and how to help prevent them from being exploited again or to help them recover more easily by understanding their post-scam behaviors. Learn more about the Psychology of Scams at www.ScamPsychology.org

i have a question if your being scrammed and you know it and you tell them no money is coming anymore and they keep comming back and saying they love you and want nothing else what are there goals if not money I know I was scrammed ive catch her twice in a lie I said no more but she still texts me and even phone called me from Ghana and uses the word soulmate i guess i sould walk away but i also see as no harm unless she ask for money again…..should i run
If one scam approach fails, they will keep coming back trying other approaches – other techniques – including the “I love” after they are discovered. Some will jump to threats. They will also come back weeks or months later to try other types, such as recovery scams claiming to be an investigator or even the police.
