Even though 50% of the accounts on Facebook are fake, it is still a safer environment than Google’s. In Facebook you can prevent scammers from contacting you.

I had 3 scammers on hangouts once you figure it out they use wow game app to embarrass and get back at you
My experience on Instagram got a follower immediately hit me up to chat, I’m a writer, so I have only very short interaction with fellow writers. I’m also a CVID patient and activist for this rear immune disorder. He told me his name is Alex Benson, Benson Alex from Spain, on peacekeeping mission in Syria, when I ask how come does a Spanish native have a English/American name so he came back Fernando is his last name. What really ticked me off was when I told him I had to end the conversation because I needed to do my 3 hr SubQ infusion, he got rude snippy and demanding for my time, and to move to hangout, I use only double encrypted email and conversation so when he insisted I download that app… (i was leary) and he would help me with it just to give him my email… I’m blond but I’m not dumb… I’m sick but I’m not senile. I told him I would look into hangout and let him know… he proceeded to tell me that when we meet he’ll take me around Florida and show me all the military installations and sites to see…. I live in Naples Florida… I do not need a wannabe Spanish douchbag show me the sites in Florida, a state I have been living in for 34 years. I deleted him as a follower immediately and deleted all the DM’s, for a whole 24 hours he kept DM’ing until I blocked him.
He also told me the reason to go on hangout, is that the military frowns on members using the regular media sites. Well, real military members all over the world have a .MIL email address. Good hunting for the scammers. NAMASTE
Maxwell Isaac and Isaac Maxwell tried to scam me romantically said he was in Benghazi on a peace keeping mission since 2016 had lost his phone and after hours chatting he asked if I could buy an Amazon gift card so he could ‘card’ his military droid and speak to me in Australia. He was extremely charming.
I have just started writing to a lady in America on hangouts and has already asked me to send her $300 US dollars which converts to $457 NZ dollars. I told her no way because we have only just started writing a week ago.
She has sent pictures and I’ve found her Instagram account.
I’ve been scammed before by women like this in all of a sudden asking for money but I have never sent them any.

I’m going to have a guess here and say that a girl asking for me to be her guarantor for her college graduation gifts is a scam? it requires me to give her my phone companies account details and her gifts are to be sent to me then I forward them on? while the phones remain in my name and she pays for them once I’ve sent them? scam?
Yes that is a scam. That actually makes you a criminal too because the “gifts” will be stolen property purchased with money or credit cards taken from someone else.
Was talking to guy name andrew jones off and on for 3yrs he always wanted cards online back account fell in love when i say no to getting cards he was upset
I’m talking to this woman name Donna from Macon, Georgia and she wants me to buy an amazon gift card so she can fix her phone. Also claims to want to wire money into my bank account from an inheritance received from her father I don’t know if its true.
Yes, you are talking with a scammer. Do none of those things. Report her on http://www.Anyscam.com or on this website to go into the SCARS|CDN Cybercrime Data Network. Then completely block her – do not accuse, do not reply, just block completely.
I’d know if Michael sean152 is a scammer. He says he is an American helicopter pilot on contract in Australia but is back in the States at moment. He always seems to be asking for money and says it’s to sort things out for us, I felt it was wrong but somehow he always managed to manipulate me round somehow.
Anyone that asks for money IS A SCAMMER. Period.
I wanna help to find out if Thomas Morphine Madsen is a scammer on hangouts. He says he work as a captain and. He says he are from Miami, Florida US. He says he is born 05.11.66, have only a mum,lost his father when he was 15. I’m starting to chat on insta late September, then hangouts since some hacked him at insta. He says he will come to Norway, but stopped texting and don’t come. So I wanna know if his a scammer, and I want there be confident and I don’t want he to know for this searching.

Just because you file a complaint doesn’t mean they will rush to Africa to investigate. You are not a child – do not act like one, let the process work. Sometimes it takes a long time to catch a scammer, plus there are international treaties involved. Reporting matters, just read our RSN Guides on the subject.
