The two girls I happen to know very well. Your names on them are all wrong. Even when I tell you what their real names are. I offered you one , with her handler , 3 months ago , when they wanted to meet with me in Ghana. Yet you did nothing. Not even contact me back to say no. . This tells me that you are not trying to stop them. By letting an opportunity like that to go past , is just helping them. Amanda is touted as ghana s first cam girl , 18 years ago. And you passed on the bust . Thanks.

Mike Thomas, we are not free private detectives on demand. We collect scammer data and investigate where appropriate. YOU may think you have accurate factual information, but the odds are you have just more lies made up by a scammer.

    Jason

    My Love,

From the very first moment I contacted you, I knew that we were destined to be together. It has been so long since a woman has captured my attention so fully or made my heart beat the way it does right now. Thoughts of you lights up my entire spirit and fills me with joy and your mere presence will warm any room. I have no doubt you are the woman Heaven has made especially for me.

Thank you for the opportunity you have given me to be yours. Most importantly, thank you for sharing your love and wanting to make us a part of your life. No matter how slowly or at what distance our courtship develops, I know standing before God and our future family, vowing to be your partner for life, was the easiest decision I could have ever made.

Each day that passes makes our love for each other grow stronger. Although I know it’s hard for us because we are apart, I know there is nothing that can keep us apart forever. Our desires will continue to stretch across any distance, over every mountain and ocean between us. Nothing can stand between us and nothing will stop me from meeting you.

You are my future and nothing can ever keep us from our destiny. I miss you more every day. I am here with open arms where you will some day finally arrive… right where you belong.

    Love Always,

    Jason

I am a 68 year old woman that has been scammed by a 59 year old male going by the name Harvey Hudson. He is in Ghana and has been for this past year. Unfortunately I have given him money. All the signs were there but I didn’t want to believe them. Finally woke up. Anybody heard of him. He started in North Carolina

A Note About Labeling!

We often use the term ‘scam victim’ in our articles, but this is a convenience to help those searching for information in search engines like Google. It is just a convenience and has no deeper meaning. If you have come through such an experience, YOU are a Survivor! It was not your fault. You are not alone! Axios!

A Question of Trust

At the SCARS Institute, we invite you to do your own research on the topics we speak about and publish, Our team investigates the subject being discussed, especially when it comes to understanding the scam victims-survivors experience. You can do Google searches but in many cases, you will have to wade through scientific papers and studies. However, remember that biases and perspectives matter and influence the outcome. Regardless, we encourage you to explore these topics as thoroughly as you can for your own awareness.

Statement About Victim Blaming

Some of our articles discuss various aspects of victims. This is both about better understanding victims (the science of victimology) and their behaviors and psychology. This helps us to educate victims/survivors about why these crimes happened and to not blame themselves, better develop recovery programs, and to help victims avoid scams in the future. At times this may sound like blaming the victim, but it does not blame scam victims, we are simply explaining the hows and whys of the experience victims have.

These articles, about the Psychology of Scams or Victim Psychology – meaning that all humans have psychological or cognitive characteristics in common that can either be exploited or work against us – help us all to understand the unique challenges victims face before, during, and after scams, fraud, or cybercrimes. These sometimes talk about some of the vulnerabilities the scammers exploit. Victims rarely have control of them or are even aware of them, until something like a scam happens and then they can learn how their mind works and how to overcome these mechanisms.

Articles like these help victims and others understand these processes and how to help prevent them from being exploited again or to help them recover more easily by understanding their post-scam behaviors. Learn more about the Psychology of Scams at www.ScamPsychology.org
