You know I hate to say it but he showed up as James Donald then he showed up as James Batman Hudson Jacob Batman Hudson are the real Batman Hudson. They’re all scams. I have lost thousands of dollars stupid enough to still believe what I’ve seen and knew it was not real and still believe it they can woo you like no tomorrow they’re good at their job, but I have learned for over two years finally get wise. I’ve done my own investigation to the ones I’ve been talking to me now found out they’re not real found out that if he says he’s still in the military, he is not in the military. He’s retired. He’s married and he’s happily married. He needs to be left alone just like as women need to be left alone and somehow someway, these people have got to be stopped. I cannot believe this world allows people to do this, but it happens so women please be careful to who you talk to. There’s no real love over the Internet. I got lucky Two years ago well 18 years ago, but I walked away from it because of differences, but and it wasn’t a Jake hudson and totally different man. He was real that was one in 1 million. I hate to say it, but I guess you need to go out to a bar go to church stand in the grocery store with a cucumber. I have no clue how to find a man. I am too old for this. I am 64 years old and still should be smarter than that I was but if anybody does Jake Hudson or even has a different name, but shows those photos I’ve got every photo I’ve got personal photos. I don’t know if any of you women have received the personal photos that I’ve received. I’ve got hundreds of photos trust me hundreds of names that they used phone numbers emails. He’s gorgeous from her, but we’re not gonna get him. He’s not available, but the man have his peace. Let the man be able to walk out in the street without somebody coming up and saying something stupid to him. Let him live his life. Let him be with his wife and children I hate to say this I wish that was with him, but anyway, ladies, let’s open the eyes close our hearts it’s not him And I am very sorry for all the women who have gotten their heart broken and their bank account broke give me more

This sucks so so much, I have been in a relationship with Sargent James chip Hudson for a while now and feel like a fool, tells me he is in Africa on peace keeping tour for the next six months, but he said something to me that made me look his picture up on google and it brought me here, I feel like a fool cause who ever it is behind his picture had said some of the nicest sweetest things to me, never asked for anything, but is still a scammer I can’t believe it, some people are crazy, this James says he has a son.

I have a tenant who is still actively involved with Jake Hudson, after James Hudson scammed her. A fake lawyer by the name of Mr Tony told her the FBI needed money to start her court case (she sent $1700) and then she gave him her bank account information. After calling the HA Air Force Base to prove “Mr Tony” was a scam, I showed her all the articles about the fake Jake and James Hudson. She reported today that the real Jake Hudson told her these other people were scamming him, and he’ll buy her a house in FL and take care of her. I asked her to have him send a selfie with a number of her choosing, and have him send a picture holding that written number. She’s now trying to sell her belongings so she can move to FL with him. She told me that the fake Jake Hudson’s had scammed her out of $17,000 already but this guy is now talking to her is the real deal. So very sad, but you can only warn someone so much.

Recently Allen Hudson Thomas came into my IG business account with a message. I block scammers, trolls and bots all day and know how many military men have their identities stolen for this type of thing, however, nothing was specifically military in either photo. His profile had some info but was private. I answered him asking if he wanted work because that’s all I do for anyone I don’t know and that’s my business. Wanted to know about making more money, lol. Meanwhile, I checked Facebook. I found a similar picture but younger and no posts with 8.4k followers and tons of posts where South African people had tagged him. Also, I couldn’t find anyone in either location he listed under the name used and that doesn’t happen especially as he listed himself as a mechanical engineer. I put his IG photo in Tineye and found this.

    I was contacted by the fake Jake Hudson two days ago. I immediately knew he was a scammer by the multiple tell-tale signs;
    (1) His life story has huge holes in it!
    (a) His age (58) does not make sense. Clearly the photos are of a man in his 30’s
    (b) He said he was from Norway yet cannot understand Norwegian.
    (c) He said he went to school in the USA, but does not know the next town across from where he grew up.
    (d) He said he went to Norway when he was 25, but could not tell me what year that was.
    (e) He said he was in the Army/Air Force (either he is in the army OR the Airforce – he can’t be in both).
    (f) He said he was doing a Peacekeeping Mission, yet did not know what that job entailed on a day-to-day basis.
    (g) I asked him which West African mission he was on and he had no clue when I mentioned
    UNMIS (Sudan)
    ONUB (Burundi)
    UNOCI (Cote d’Ivoire)
    UNMIL (Liberia)
    (2) His English is very poor. OBVIOUSLY not American. His spelling is okay (yup! there are spell-checkers!), but his grammar is ATROCIOUS and it’s obvious he is from West Africa. There is NO WAY the Air Force would allow him with such poor education.
    (3) He showed me a photo of his dog, yet could not tell me what breed it was. Just said it was a dog. Duh!
    (4) He showed me a photo of him posing at the gym, but could not tell me the name of the gym he went to.
    (5) He also could not tell me anything concrete about his workout regime for competition.

A Note About Labeling!

We often use the term ‘scam victim’ in our articles, but this is a convenience to help those searching for information in search engines like Google. It is just a convenience and has no deeper meaning. If you have come through such an experience, YOU are a Survivor! It was not your fault. You are not alone! Axios!

A Question of Trust

At the SCARS Institute, we invite you to do your own research on the topics we speak about and publish, Our team investigates the subject being discussed, especially when it comes to understanding the scam victims-survivors experience. You can do Google searches but in many cases, you will have to wade through scientific papers and studies. However, remember that biases and perspectives matter and influence the outcome. Regardless, we encourage you to explore these topics as thoroughly as you can for your own awareness.

Statement About Victim Blaming

Some of our articles discuss various aspects of victims. This is both about better understanding victims (the science of victimology) and their behaviors and psychology. This helps us to educate victims/survivors about why these crimes happened and to not blame themselves, better develop recovery programs, and to help victims avoid scams in the future. At times this may sound like blaming the victim, but it does not blame scam victims, we are simply explaining the hows and whys of the experience victims have.

These articles, about the Psychology of Scams or Victim Psychology – meaning that all humans have psychological or cognitive characteristics in common that can either be exploited or work against us – help us all to understand the unique challenges victims face before, during, and after scams, fraud, or cybercrimes. These sometimes talk about some of the vulnerabilities the scammers exploit. Victims rarely have control of them or are even aware of them, until something like a scam happens and then they can learn how their mind works and how to overcome these mechanisms.

Articles like these help victims and others understand these processes and how to help prevent them from being exploited again or to help them recover more easily by understanding their post-scam behaviors. Learn more about the Psychology of Scams at www.ScamPsychology.org
