SCARS|RSN™ Make Over For 2019

In the coming months, we will be implementing a series of creative changes to SCARS™ Romance Scams Now™ website and Social Media.

This is a part of the new look for SCARS and RSN and part of the name change for the Society.

Going forward RSN will be known as SCARS™ or SCARS/RSN™ when using initials and Romance Scams Now™ still when spelled out. This will be applied to new content, and we will go back as time permits to update previous content.

The Romance Scams Now logo will be kept, as well as the SCARS typeface to make it easy for you to recognize us.

But we are a nonprofit so we do not have very limited personnel so this will take us a couple of months to implement. There may be a bit of chaos for the next few months over this. Please be patient with us!

We hope to dramatically expand SCARS in 2019 to better serve scam victims worldwide and support governments worldwide in their war against scams.

We hope you like the new changes as we mature as an NGO and as always your comments are welcome.

FAQ: How Do You Properly Report Scammers?

It is essential that law enforcement knows about scams & scammers, even though there is nothing (in most cases) that they can do.

Always report scams involving money lost or where you received money to:

  1. Local Police – ask them to take an “informational” police report – say you need it for your insurance
  2. Your National Police or FBI (www.IC3.gov)
  3. The Scars Worldwide Reporting Network HERE or on www.Anyscam.com

This helps your government understand the problem, and allows law enforcement to add scammers on watch lists worldwide.
