Scammer Grammar

Scammers are always looking for more effective words. Many people have learned to be on their guard, and they’re likely to suspect an overly aggressive phishing phone call from a fake credit card customer service agent speaking accented English. But victims still fall for the bad language use every day!

Online scammers use similar techniques. When texting or emailing their marks, or posting information in fake profiles, or messaging, they often work from “scripts” of prewritten boilerplate language. The most effective conversational gambits are saved and distributed to other scammers in the network, and they cut-and-paste the scripts into their grifts at crucial moments.

BUT THEY SOMETIMES ARE FORCED TO IMPROVISE!

This is where the scammer grammar becomes more obvious.

Good morning from here in the UK, first let me say I am so sorry for not writing you back since but I have been having trouble with my computer so  this is why I could not reply you. I have just got it fixed, hence my message now.

I am really keen about this so I hope it will work out good for us both. It feels so good to know that we are both on the same page relationship-wise. I  live a very simple life here,I live on the countryside here. So life here is pretty simple, quiet and lovely but it can be very boring at times.

I used to live in the city before but when I got pregnant of my daughter and my Fiance (my daughter father) died in auto accident, since then I had to  move back home here to my family here in a small village called Rothley, in the county of Leicestershire, Engaland(Mum and my siblings, Kate and  John). I have a very supportive and understanding family, they have been there for me through thick and thin. It was a hard time for me losing my  Fiance, two months into pregnancy of my daughter. Ever since then, I have not been in any relationship of some sort, all I have been focused on is my  daughter. I just want to give her the best of me always. I want a man,my partner to accept me for who I am and will accept my daughter as well. I  do hope that will not be a problem for you. I want a man that we will share our future together, that we will raise a happy simple family together in  love and in happiness. Someone I will share every moment with, someone to share everything with, do things together etc.

Anyway, that is that, I also enjoy swimming, fishing. I like out door activities, like playing Tennis, Golf, Gardening, Hiking. I also love cooking, doing  house chores. I just want a man that we will share all this value and we will be happy together. I am a family oriented kind of person, so I want a man  that will also love spending quality times with family, enjoying and sharing every moment together.

I really hope that this will lead to something more and serious for us because I am tired of being alone now, I want to move on with my life, settle down, have a family, raise kids (if possible…would you like to have more kids). Anyway, lets hope for the best.
