It is essential that law enforcement knows about scams & scammers, even though there is nothing (in most cases) that they can do.
Always report scams involving money lost or where you received money to:

Statement About Victim Blaming
Some of our articles discuss various aspects of victims. This is both about better understanding victims (the science of victimology) and their behaviors and psychology. This helps us to educate victims/survivors about why these crimes happened and to not blame themselves, better develop recovery programs, and to help victims avoid scams in the future. About three years ago I met a woman named Mia Daniel’s,she looks like part Japanese,talked to her on messenger.asking me for $300 to help on a college course for her to graduate.i didn’t do it.but then I saw a picture of her on facebook,made a comment .a week after a guy contacted me,he told me she fake,he says,he has a iphone,she has ipad,they did a video call,then says,he was talking to her,he couldn’t make out her face.but then it came more clearer until he outline of her face.it wasn’t a woman,it was a man using a woman’s face.he says that was SCARY.

I talk to this girl every day on messenger and she goes by the name mavisagbitey and she live in liverpoole london but i feel i am being scamed because she keeps saying she has over 4million 900,00 and when she gets axcess to this money she wants to spend the rest of her life wih me and move to canada and she did go by the name of lana brook one time but now goes by this other name mavisagbitey i just want to know is this person a real person or somone just trying to get money from me to pay her goverment taxes can anyone let me know if they have ever talked to this same girl

Rebecca McDonald of Sonoma CA is using lanas face as a hook for her scam. 2021 you can find her on Facebook. Typical of these scams she has no profile pic or info. She did provide a fake DL F5090592. DM me if you want to see it.

I have plenty of pictures of Lana Brooke, and I don’t think it is nessesary to send them , her pictures were used in a Scam on myself, like in all things I was a victim and so was she , and good luck to all this happens Too.
Yes for me she was Victorine Lucette student from Dover USA. I think a scam group is operating using photos. I blew her cover when she wouldn’t participate in verification photo. She / he wriggled and squirmed to try and avoid participating. So I blew her out.
I was talking to this woman on Instagram she said her name is Stephanie Hugh she’s in Afghanistan in the US army tried to get me to send her money for meds because they didn’t have access to their money where she is she loves me and when she gets home we’re getting married I’m not a fool so I checked her out and found this her pictures are of Lana Brookes
I came across her on SKOUT as Victorine Lucette claiming you be living in DOVER USA a French National needing funds for UNICAF student online courses. She wanted money mailing to Segbegnon Prosper Houndja in Benin via WU. She showers photos on correspondents but will not obey directional poses in order to supply proof photo on demand. She spins a fantastic story. She provides images of student cards too . Be careful
I’ve talked to her, met on plenty of fish app under the name Melissa Healey and told she’s her own boss and own a Solon place. Does she have a boyfriend named Josh, two sisters named Elizabeth and Joanna and a brother named Dale

I have a friend that is talking to this women that calls herself margarita and has met her in person said she had to go to Africa to her granny’s and now she is in Dubai. And using these pics as well

I’ve been talking with a woman that goes by Jennifer Bailey. She’s claiming to b Lana Brooke after she had sent me a pic with that name at the bottom of the pic. So I done my research on her. Then I questioned her about all this. She has asked for money and personal info that I’ve never gave her and I keep refusing to give her. We talk daily and she claimed she’s n love with me but I no I’m being scammed from the firtrime she asked me for money.

I’ve been talk to this same woman since mid October 2018. She told me her name is Jennifer Bailey. She’s sent me a couple pictures and is constantly asking me for iTunes cards for music cuz she can’t get them there. I’ve. It sent her anything nor will I. The min she asked for that I new this was a scam and I’ve been playing along with her games. She’s also asked me for personal info witch I won’t give her. Someone need to stop this bitch from scamming others. I’d like to see her behind bars from all I’ve read about this thief.
You are probably not even talking to a woman most of the time. Scammers work in teams. Why waste your time, report, block, and move on. Sorry, but you need to stop talking to strangers and believing in fairy tales.
I have her pictures as well as the scammers went by Stephanie Gehring claiming to be in U.K. but I tried telling him to Skype me . The scammer came up with a lame excuse that they didn’t have Skype there . I just gotten over this as i’m Rebuilding my life . Hopefully I will hear more news about this and keep up the good work.

I have been contacted by a woman who uses Lana Brooke pics. She says her name is Patricia Daman. I met her on the site called Adultfriendfinder. She says she is an interior decorator working on a project in Istanbul, Turkey. She scammed me badly and I fell for it. I’m soooooo dumb…..

She is Lana Brooke, a port model. Her photos are stolen by scammers, typically from Ghana and Nigeria.
Unfortunately Lana is not in the industry now for over 3 years. Her previous company are using her image for a range of activities. They are threatening her to return but she is seeking a new life. Be aware she does not authorise the use of her pictures ro website.
Lana’s photos being used by scammers and fraudsters are stolen anyway, they don’t ask for authorization. We display them for evidence purposes, since they were used in crimes.
lana has left the industry however coleman her pimp uses her picture without authorization and i hear he will soon be sued for monetary damages as well as the sites that he sells her images to

Yes, it is a scam. Scammers often but victims on a slow burn while they work on other victims. Sometimes they will wait a year before dropping the other shoe and asking for money. Hard as it is, it is a scam. Block her now, and just move on, if you confront her, you are only giving “her” more opportunity to manipulate you.
