There is no need for you to research further – you are being asked to engage in felony money laundering. If you gave out your banking information or access to any financial account you could be facing serious criminal liability. Report them on the FBI’s http://www.IC3.gov and on http://www.Anyscam.com – please stop talking to strangers online. If you have already given the info out, you are advised to contact a local attorney to advise you and courses of action.

I was looking at the photo gallery and did not see a picture of a General in the Air Force that I watch over. Brigadier General Daniel H Tulley. I have a Anti-Scammer Facebook page. 379th Air Expeditionary Wing which is where he is now. I did report this to you. I know in fact he is innocent and being used. I follow their Air Force base Facebook page. How can I make sure his photo gets posted on this site? And do you follow up by making a report to the FBI since he in the military? I have not found an easy way to report it to them.

I have been talking to “Daniel” a “Marine” from POF, initially it was just getting to know you questions.. He has a 3 year old daughter.. even sent me pics, Wife died giving Birth…. A week into talking he is being sent to South Korea.. Sends me a message saying he has arrived and how much he loves me… Sends me pics of himself.. Handsome guy.. Then starts asking for a $200.00 ITunes card… Pump the brakes here!! What??? I come from a military family and never once has any of my family needed this while deployed. So I get curious, I send nothing and do a reverse catfish search on “Daniel” who can’t give me his last name because of “Security reasons” I find the pic he sent me in 6 other sites with Different names and ages! I called him out on it and he claims he had been hacked some while back and these other sites must have gotten his pics… Still unwilling to give me his last name, I asked his rank in the Marines.. By his Patch he is a Corporal but he says it is classified… Why do people do these things??

Can I ask what other names he went by on the other sites. I am currently talking to someone who left a week after we started talking on POF overseas. He has not asked me for any money or ITUNES gift card and we have been chatting for about two weeks. He states he loves me too, and that his wife died during child birth, and that he has a six year old son. He has sent me pictures of him and his son, him in uniform etc. We have talked on the phone, but he says he can’t video chat due to where he is and the security levels involved. The thing that sounded familiar to me was the died in child birth. I have his supposed first and last name but cannot locate him anywhere on line. I did a reverse search of every picture he sent and it came back with nothing. He may be telling the truth, but I’m trying to find that out before I get any more involved. Thanks.

I had some man name William Connor asked me for a $50.00 ITunes gift card I searched this person out and asked him I mean a lot of questions he lived in Whitney California and he had a Business Called Connors Empire Constructions company that is located in California I did a search of the small little town he lives in I was shocked what I found . Discovery of Mt Whitney. Scammer lie, it is what they do. Scammers will copy the information from real people and real companies too, so nothing is really proof they are real. It is as simple as this: if someone you never met in real life asks you for money online they are a sample – period.

I was Followed on Twitter by some scammer pretending to be a Lt.Gen.Timothy Faye who indeeds does exist.
I knew the person behind the other screen was a scammer from the beginning because a Lt.General in the AF that’s supposedly on some secret mission in a war zone on the edge of Damascus isn’t going to be able to stop during a war and get on Twitter and that’s exactly what this scammer tried to convince me he was doing..
The majority of these ppl can’t spell and they use words out of context that makes no sense and they will contact you first with something like..Hello dear or gorgeous etc. And they have a child away at boarding school somewhere and they’ve lost immediate family members in a violet way.

Is anyone speaking with a Michael D’Andrea based out of Dublin, CA. He has a dating profile on Victoria Milan. I believe he may be a scammer but a very sophisticated one as I am able to run a background check on him. So the scammer has really stolen this guy’s identity or he is a real person. I have no idea. He has not asked for money. All pictures seem real.

I was sweet talked by Jacob Millet Rayburn. He claimed to be a single dad of 2 boys. Mom had died of cancer. Here’s all the scams he tried to pull on me.
1..His dad had a business in Dubai and needed help with transferring money. Needed my personal info to give to his lawyer.
2 If I called the army and told them he and were engaged he could get a phone so we could talk.
    3. His son’s birthday was coming up but the army froze his bank account while he was deployed. He wanted me to help him with money so he could send his son a birthday present.
    4. ITune gift cards to update his iPhone.
No…. I didn’t help and he kept coming back. His Facebook has been shutdown/deleted. Not sure which. I feel for the people that have had their photos stolen.

Once scammed the criminals put you on a list. And they come at one from all directions. Watch your followers and the ones you follow. They not always your friends. The follow 0ne from page to page and gather information. I was scammed once, lost no money, but a few months of my time. Learned a lot. Corresponded with many, preprinted introduction, in the war zone , wife died in car accident, cancer and so on. What the all have in common ,? No access to money. And than they start the yucky English. When the subject comes to money, block and report. I learned the hard way, not to correspond with strangers on line. Was hacked, viruses implanted into a different computer, harassment and foul language used in open post. Had to change everything. Please, be careful. They are great manipulators. Thank you for this side. This is the only one I trust.

Bruce, there are more than a billion fake named profiles on Facebook alone. You really can’t tell anything from just a name. However, the story smell and sound like a typical scammer narrative. The minute you suspect them it is all over. Report the scammer (www.Anyscam.com) and block them. To continue ignoring your gut-instincts will only cause you more pain.

Victims in strong denial like this are NOT just a problem of criminality. This is also a mental health issue.

Like at our guides fro family on our home page. But consider talking to both a family law attorney and a therapist about strategies. You can explore becoming her guardian so that she cannot send any more money, as well as helping her obtain counseling and therapy. You can start with speaking with the local police and asking them to perform a welfare check on her if she lives alone – they can explain what is reality. The other reason to ask the police for help is that these victims are frequently converted to MULES and the police can help shut that down.

Military scammers are the lowest of the low. I was messaged on POF from a Sargent Richard Booke, he is a scammer. After a few messages he wanted to text, then the next day he wanted me to take my profile off POF and I happily did it, because by now I figured out he was a scammer. The tired old story dead wife, young daughter, so I asked who looks after your daughter when you are in Afghanistan he said a guardian. When I pushed for a name he changed the subject. Of course he is madly in love, so I gave him a twist said my nephew in the US military was shipping out to Afghanistan and I would give my nephew his name and rank, and what was his lady name again, his reply was Brooke the dope didn’t remember he told me Booke in the first email. Then he tells me not to say anything to my nephew because we should keep our love secret and surprise the family with the news later. Didn’t ask for money, wants to video me in the shower. Never ceases to amaze me that these scammers thing you will fall in love with them and do anything without ever having met them. So another one for the records Richard Booke/Brooke

He never asked for anything didn’t get far enough but he claimed he was my soulmate (creepy). He stopped messaging after I asked for a pic with today’s date showing on it so I could prove he was real, I had a weird vibe from the first message.

I researched his photos and information on the internet he has about 6 FB pages and is on LinkedIn and a ton of other sites. He truly is a Piece of Shit glad I’m the type of woman to research a man before taking him seriously. He even had someone else contact me by the name of “Mark Motalvo,” to give me some heartfelt BS about his friend. I feel sorry for the women that fall for these scams.

You were scammed by several different groups of scammers, that is all you need to know. They steal photos, impersonate real people and lead you down a path to your own destruction.

Oie tive em contato com mesmo telefone e os email. Dizendo ele que me mandou presente mesma historia.

          – – – –

It really does not matter who the photos are from because they are stolen photos. The scammers take photos of many different people to use for their scams. What you need to understand is that it is just a scam. It is nothing but lies.

You should file a report about your scam, then turn away from the scammer and focus on yourself. You need to recover from this experience. If you stay focused on the face in the photo you will never recover.

Diana .

He sent flowers to me from a FTD in Ohio. After speaking for several months he kept hinting that his son wanted something but because a unit in Iraq had been hacked the us government froze all military members accounts and he was unable to get his son the git he wanted. He asked me to purchase over a thousand dollars worth of stuff for his son Scott, of course I did not. I confronted him and asked for a military email and FPO address …he told me that he was not able to give out that information, and spent over an hour trying to turn the conversation on me for quesioning and interrogating him. He left the conversation sticking to the I have to go out with my unit BS.

This scammer contacted me via Facebook using the name Oyia Stella (Jefferson) Sargent US Army, on a peace keeping mission in Hargeisa Somalia. He was very sincere had a heartbreaking story. At first I thought he was legitimate seemed to about the “military life”, his role etc. I got suspicious when he asked me to purchase a communication card w/the cheapest one being $600 (2wks). Long story short, his grammar was not that bad BUT every time I asked about his mission, mailing address or even his military e-mail he would change the subject. On another occasion he said that he would ask the commanding officer for his “data”, as he claimed to not know his nationality, his parents passed when he was very young, his uncle put him in the Military academy at a young age, had no family other then his Uncle whom he lost track of. Eventually after I did not purchase the communication card, he blocked me. This scammer is really good, will tell you anything to grab your heart. However, I’m a bit smarter then him and didn’t fall for his scam.. If anyone has been contacted by this person, please don’t fall for it. It’s unfortunate that his innocent Soldier is being used by this scammer.

Chatting with a man who says he is in Afghanistan, Master Sgt Brandon Francis Kizzle (Facebook name) # used by him is (862) 239-4937/Information Tech Specialist. In military 24 yrs & overseas 6/10 yrs.
I am not sure if he is truly who he says he is.
He has not hinted bout wanting any $$. I have been messaged by more than one of those $$ scammer types prior.
So it makes me leary, once bitten twice shy.

Hi, my name is Joan and I have been chatting with a Captain Roland Scott or Roland Scott Wilson. He is on a Peace Keeping Mission in Syria and in the Army. I’ve been chatting about a month. His wife is deceased and his acts are frozen and needs at least $1200.00 dollars for leave because of the craziness of what’s gone on. He’s scared. I said I was not sending money and he was not nice about it. He keeps talking about how unsafe it is in Syria. He still chats but not much. But always knocks me for not sending money. Suppose to be from Manchester, England but lives in New York. I told him he was a scam digger and he told me not to get in touch with him.

Is there a Darren W. Mcdew in the Air Force? At first this guy asked for a friend request. When he text me another profile picture popped up. I asked him about it and he said it wasn’t true. He told me his wife died and I looked it up but no info on her. He said he had a 16 year old son in Nigeria attending military academy. During this time he says he’s in Syria on a peace mission. When I told him some things he got upset and said “out of my way, I’ m a joker just like u!”” Now he’s texting again and he is in Afghanistan with two daughter’s this time and their mother left him for another man when he was in military. He wants to settle down when he returns. He is from Illinois. His sister has his daughters and they need a stepmom. Also this guy is the first one who asked for friend request. Mind you that the other profile had the name Crawford on it. So is he a scammer and does the real one know that his identification is being used? He has never asked for any money. It seemed so real at first. I was so confused. Tell me that he is a scammer!

There is a new scammer called Jafierro Folger. Apparently he was a “secret military agent” then changed the story stating that he was in CIA. Profile states widowed and 49. Even though his picture looked younger. When we spoke he mentioned to be French but his accent was not. He rapidly asked to be in a relationship and he wanted to know every day about me.
He was station at a military based in Florida and will call me- I couldn’t call him. When he was supposed to come home all of the sudden he was reassigned to a mission. That’s when he mentioned of any funding that he might need and a third party could be involved.

There are a lot of these military scams on a newer site called Badoo to meet people. I haven’t even been on a week, and already chatted with at least 10. Luckily, I ask a lot of questions and my brother served, so I am not stupid. Question everything! They claim to be overseas, and some of the places we don’t even have there! I also ask them units and their jobs. They all have the same sad story of losing a wife 3 years ago and being a widower. be careful! I researched and it seems that they eventually ask for money to “come home” or visit. Stay safe people!
