Dede Michael – Real Ghana Scammer – using the name Esther Ansomma

Meet Dede Michael

WE HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY DEDE MICHAEL – (CLICK MORE BELOW)

Looks like a nice guy, but is reported to be a Ghana Scammer!

He uses the name of Esther Ansomaa or Esther Ansomma

He lives in Accra, Ghana and went to the Accra Academy.

His facebook account doesn’t really say much, like most real Ghana scammers, but feel free to stop by and share your thoughts:  https://www.facebook.com/dede.michael.39

[it appears he removed his Faceboook profile after this was published]

The person behind the Esther Ansomma name is one of the more insidious scammers from Ghana.

Here is a collection of photos used with the name Esther Ansomma:

Unfortunately, these are a small sample of photos used by this and other scammers associated with that name.  There are literally thousands.

Of course remember, these photos are of real people and were stolen by the scammer!

If you ever meet an Esther Ansomaa online in any dating website – guess what?  It’s a scammer!

OUR REPLY:

We received an email about you from one of our site visitors, and looked at your facebook account.  We saw the connection from your account to the Ester Ansomaa account.  You were the ONLY person from Africa connected to that fake account – all the other were American, European, or Australians.  We reported what we found.  We see that you have removed your account from facebook, so we cannot investigate your assertion any further.  The matter has been turned over to the U.S. FBI for further investigation.  If you can provide any reasonable proof of your statement, we will be happy to remove your information.  Our goal is to identify and expose Ghanaian Scammers, and your facebook page had indications of that activity, however since it has been removed we must assume you have something to hide.  Since we do not even know if that was your real identity, you are welcome to give us more information about yourself, to prove your point, and if we can verify your honesty, we will print a retraction.

Follow-Up

We received another report that Dede Michael had been at it again.  He appears to have created more Facebook accounts as well.

Current Facebook Accounts (we think):

While we are only providing information sent to us, we see typical scammer behavior in what this person published online.

Thank you Lee Mai, we appreciate your support very much. Yes, most dating sites are infested with fakes and scammers. The dating industry has done a terrible job of controlling the problem. In many parts of the world people have returned to matchmakers to find a partner. But, regardless, if you encounter fakes or scammers please report them on http://www.Anyscam.com. Thank you.

A Note About Labeling!

We often use the term ‘scam victim’ in our articles, but this is a convenience to help those searching for information in search engines like Google. It is just a convenience and has no deeper meaning. If you have come through such an experience, YOU are a Survivor! It was not your fault. You are not alone! Axios!

A Question of Trust

At the SCARS Institute, we invite you to do your own research on the topics we speak about and publish, Our team investigates the subject being discussed, especially when it comes to understanding the scam victims-survivors experience. You can do Google searches but in many cases, you will have to wade through scientific papers and studies. However, remember that biases and perspectives matter and influence the outcome. Regardless, we encourage you to explore these topics as thoroughly as you can for your own awareness.

Statement About Victim Blaming

Some of our articles discuss various aspects of victims. This is both about better understanding victims (the science of victimology) and their behaviors and psychology. This helps us to educate victims/survivors about why these crimes happened and to not blame themselves, better develop recovery programs, and to help victims avoid scams in the future. At times this may sound like blaming the victim, but it does not blame scam victims, we are simply explaining the hows and whys of the experience victims have.

These articles, about the Psychology of Scams or Victim Psychology – meaning that all humans have psychological or cognitive characteristics in common that can either be exploited or work against us – help us all to understand the unique challenges victims face before, during, and after scams, fraud, or cybercrimes. These sometimes talk about some of the vulnerabilities the scammers exploit. Victims rarely have control of them or are even aware of them, until something like a scam happens and then they can learn how their mind works and how to overcome these mechanisms.

Articles like these help victims and others understand these processes and how to help prevent them from being exploited again or to help them recover more easily by understanding their post-scam behaviors. Learn more about the Psychology of Scams at www.ScamPsychology.org
