Hey, me,too. Started okay, then the bad english/,grammar/,spelling started. Said he was “italia n only in country 4 yrs” extremely extremely quickly progressed to i loves you an want to engage me. Bu y you Mercedes bend. Thought it fun to play along, sort-of so I could do this. Waiting for the asking for money, knew it was coming. Said he not in country now, in yemen, working some job related to oil. 1st, expensive pipe broke, next some machine broke. Now he’s stuck there, broke, all his money gone, and please send him some to fix problem and get him home to engage me, buy me mercedes. Promise I not be disappointed, pay me back right away when he returns. How much? Well, I got to pick; $10,000, $8,000or $7,000. I offered to send $100.00, where to send?, Some embassy. I told him to send pic of his passport so I got info correct. Omg- embassy holding it. Who’,d of thunk??? Ok, send pic of drivers license (remember he drove Mercedes bend). No reply, which by the way, was ALWAYS the response if information would ‘out him’. I kept refusing to send money, 1st asked cause he love me.Then cause if I love him. Then I never trust him ever. Then keep you money, I stay here afraid. Then it quickly progressed to bullying. I told him I knew the plan, he asked what plan and I told him trying to scam me out of as much money as possible in the shortest time possible. He told to just forget everything because he no like way you talk to me. Obviousy, they all follow the same script. They may twe ek it a bit here and there, but it is all the same. Ladies, be aware, a LOT of you are falling for this crap.

OMG! I’m SO Glad I found you! This is the SEVENTH time I’ve been approached by a scammer. I am grateful to be so poor that they can’t get anything from me even if they tried. I’ve always figured them out before they get a chance to reveal their true game, but this time I’m going to try to see what they ask for before telling them to F**k off. I may have blown it already by telling him (“Paul Anderson, Skype ID : admsapul383, email address: admsapul45@gmail.com, phone number : 661 524 6581, The pic he used:

that I’m old, poor and disabled, but we’ll see. I thought I had fool-proofed my online connections by insisting that I talk live on Skype with them. This guy somehow made a Skype call with what seemed to be a live chat, but the vid was very fuzzy and the voice DID NOT fit the face! He looks like someone from Andy of Mayberry but sounds like a Rastafarian. I did a search of his pictures, no result. I Googled his name, address, the company in Bulgaria he said he was procuring gem stones through. (Could this actually be a Bulgarian scammer?) Nothing showed up. But I did notice a typo in the document and wondered if it’s possible that a multi million dollar company can’t afford a grammar checker. He even sent a picture of the contract document he claims he was working on, showing that he was going to make nearly a million dollars from this job. I was an English teacher, so I noticed that the grammar mistakes were always the same. Is it the same guy or a different one every time? (WHY ME??/ WHY IS IT ALWAYS MEEEE???)
I finally Googled some of the lovey-dovey crap he wrote, like, “I just want a woman to hold before I’m old.” Or ” I need a rigger for a trigger.” [WTF?] That’s how I was able to confirm that not only was he a scammer, but a plagiarizer as well. And how I found you.

  Once scammers identify a victim, they place your contact info in their harvesting lists and share them around their organization. So they will contact you repeatedly until you learn to effectively block them.

    I may have found a way to get them to remove me from their lists! One thing I know about most of the human race is that each culture has some form of superstition or fear of the supernatural. It’s endemic to African and Eastern European culture. After looking at the info from your site, I had reason to assume the scammers that have been repeatedly attacking me were either from Africa or Eastern Europe. So with that info, and knowing how superstitious people are, I had this final exchange with “Paul Anderson”:
    P: Hello beautiful
    M: Hi Handsome,
    Do you believe in Magic? I do. As a matter of fact, I’ve learned to effectively use it against the people who have been trying to scam me.
    P: Magic ?
    Wow you might have to teach me
    How to do magic
    (I didn’t respond for a day after that.)
    P: Hello
    M: Hi I had a busy day. Just came home and went to sleep.
    Re: Magic. It is something that one has to very cautious about. I have used it against people who tried to harm me and felt guilty for what happened to them from it.
    I wish scammers would just leave me alone. But since they won’t, I’m going to fuck them up.
    My grandmother came to Philly in 1900 from Jamaica after my grandfather died. He had been a Maroon, living in the mountains and practicing the arts of our ancestors.
    He taught my grandma and she taught me, but I never used the knowledge until now. I’m a pretty even tempered person, but these scammers have ticked me off.
    I joined a group that searches out and identifies scammers and they are giving me the information so I can defend people like me on a level they didn’t figure on.
    P: Wow what a great knowledge can you tell me more about it
    M: I can’t share the info with anyone who doesn’t have a background in this kind of art. I learned from my grandmother over my childhood. But it has to do with the transference of our natural energies.
    P: wow I’m interested in learning
    M: Why?
    P: Anyone would be interested in having such kind of knowledge
    So i can also defend myself with it
    M: It can only be used by people who never seek harm, but only defense and teaching lessons of morality.
    P: Yes I don’t seek harm
    M: Scamming people is harming them. Coming into someone’s life. Trying to steal their money or just manipulating their emotions is a form of abuse. Such people have no right to expect good to come to them. They will never know peace, security or success.
    P: Yes
    M: I can see to that.
    P: Okay
    M: I have to go Sweetie. Have a good day!
    P: Okay sweet dreams
    HE HAD BEEN CONTACTING ME 2-3 TIMES A DAY, BUT NOTHING FROM “HIM” AFTER THAT!
    I’m actually disappointed that they didn’t contact me at least one more time. I had another dose of medicine for them.

I just recently received DM on my FB from someone who fits this profile. The grammar is horrible but every once in a while he will through something in with perfect grammar. I google it and to no surprise it is a quote from someone else. He hasn’t asked for anything but within the first hour he said he loved me. RED FLAG! I checked his profile and did a lot of digging around to find that he is full of it. I have called him on it. Asked for a selfie with thumbs up and he sends a different photo without my request of thumbs. I am laughing at he conversation but then again it makes me mad and sad for others that he is doing this too. People are stupid for doing this to others. Thank God I have the mind to look into his profile and dig like I did. Ridiculous. I want him shut down. But I know he will create a new profile in a matter of minutes. Lame! Anyway, this grammar portion was spot on. Thank you!

Is there any data base that can be integrated with a php site that can check the ip against their profile? if not a match they get deleted and banned.

you are so right on the money. I have a dating site and I constantly check their ip addresses and yes their grammer is worst them a 5 year old.

This guy tells me, he enjoys charting with me, I assume that’s chatting, and he told me, he is a General of the United States of America but is for privacy and cannot give me his APO, also, he wanted to know if I enjoyed his presents (I guess that means presence, he said, am so happy to meet you, have you eaten? He was in love with me in less than three days. He’s in Syria and need me to write a letter to request his leave and help pay his Visa which is 12,000, needless to say I blocked him. LOL!!!!

This people in Ghana,Nigeria and AFRICA have nothing else to do,they are lazy people who depends on getting money to other people who are very vulnerable.I think they should abolish Face book and Social Media.This was the start of this Scammers business.We should go back in the year 1960’s.

YES IT STARTED WITH GUYS SITTING ON THE FLOOR, BUT NOT ANY MORE, THESE ARE NOW PROFESSIONALS – SOME HAVE BEEN WORKING AT IT FOR 20 YEARS. VICTIMS BELIEVE THIS IS JUST SOME SCUMBAG, WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE MUCH CLOSER TO THE 1930 GANGS THAT OWNED CHICAGO.

I just happened to find you guys today and I must say THANK YOU. I’m sure I say that for a lot of guys that have been burned. In the time I’ve been trying out the online dating thing (1y3mo) I’ve learned so much I’m thinking about writing a book on how to spot a scammer. You guys got a lot of it in the things they say that they shouldn’t. But you missed a couple of big red flags. The use of the word mum instead of mom. That’s a dead giveaway, especially if they are saying they’re from anywhere other than Britain. This is how people talk when influenced by the British like in Africa. They picked up enough that it’s now part of the way they speak. That’s on of the reasons they don’t ever want to talk on the phone. Every time one of the ladies I’m talking to won’t give me a number or the biggest red flag of all my phone only receives text because they dropped it in water. To date, every one I’ve spoken to from Ghana has been a scammer. 73 out of 73. I’m now working with the FBI regarding romance scammers on two different cases. I’ve gotten so pissed off every time I come across one I know for sure is one, I turn them into the IC3. I find it amazing that they all seem to be working from the same handbook. All the stories have the same basic elements to it, a dead or dying loved one mostly parents. Or they are import-exporters and they’re out of the country to buy more whatever only to be on they’re way back to see you when something bad happens and now they need your help so they can get back to be with you. Plus why is it these fools never have a real job? It’s to the point now when I know I’m talking to one I start making fun of the people from the country I believe them to be from. It’s funny how fast I can get under their skin and they lose their shit. lol, When I start calling them fat and lazy just like all the other black guys that aren’t smart enough to get a real job. Oh man, that will set them off in a hurry. Sorry, got a little off track there. You guys rock. Thanks for fighting the good fight for all of those that don’t have a clue yet. Peace

One other thing they will also send you a message between the middle of the day between 1:00pm and 3:00pm, that is when they are at their Internet cafe’s at night between 7:00pm-10:00pm their time

I’m talking to a girl from Ghana right now who always says “husband of mine”. She goes my the name, Evelyn Amenuku. She says she’s in nursing school in Ghana but the language she uses is just quirky.

  The quirky is their fractured English – we call it Scammer Grammar. I am sorry to say, there is NOTHING you can believe. Even if “She” sends photos, they could be from a local girl that gets paid for her photos. This is VERY big business with the Sakawa boys – watch the video and you will understand. They are each bringing in thousands per month. The sad truth is that NO ONE in Central Africa can be trusted. And don’t ever think about going there – the minute you get off of the plane, you are subject to kidnapping and ransom.
