My mother in law just got scammed by this so called general! She actually was fooled into givig him an itunes card for $100. I went over and helped her blockBlock Blocking is a technical action usually on social media or messaging platforms that restricts or bans another profile from seeing or communicating with your profile. To block someone on social media, you can usually go to their profile and select it from a list of options - often labeled or identified with three dots ••• him but he just makes new accounts and won’t give up. Now he has her phone number that he got off of facebook and is trying to call her. How dose stop this. Why can’t Facebook stop him from opening new accounts
I just got a friend request from “him” this morning.
I did too- I checked it out and realized he was phoney just from the questions I drilled him with.. I told him I knew he was phoney and to get lost..
then I reported him to FB- they need to shut him down…
Please report him properly – look in our menu or go to http://www.Anyscam.com. There are more than ONE BILLION fake identities on Facebook. Arresting scammers is the key. 21,000 scammers arrested in 2018 alone!
Same picture of that Guy talking to my grandma now. He ask money to my grandma and he Said he Will just pay my grandma with his insurance because he said he have big insurance. And he told my grandma that they will get married. My grandma send much money already to him. Please help us to find out who’s using his account and so it will stop scamming people.
Ok, there are a few things you will need to know. Scamming is one of the most massive businesses in the world. It makes more money than many countries. Who the person is behind the fake identity is a group of scammers. They may work in a gangGang A gang is normally a group or society of associated criminals with a defined leadership and internal organization that identifies with or claims control over a territory or business practice in a community and engages, either individually or collectively, in illegal, and possibly violent, behavior. Online gangs are not limited by territory and may operate side by side with other gangs while engaging in crime online. Some members of criminal gangs are initiated (by going through a process of initiation), or have to prove their loyalty and right to belong by committing certain acts, usually theft or violence, or rituals. Gangs are usually rougher and more visible than scammer cartels, and more often arrested. or for one of the larger cartels. Look at our guides on our home page for what happens after you have been scammed. You and your grandmother need to focus on what matters now – that she get over this – that she recovers emotionally. BUT you also need to report it starting with your local police and on http://www.Anyscam.com or here on this website. The odds are the scammerScammer A Scammer or Fraudster is someone that engages in deception to obtain money or achieve another objective. They are criminals that attempt to deceive a victim into sending more or performing some other activity that benefits the scammer. will not be arrested and the money will never come back, but it is important to report, and then turn away from the scamScam A Scam is a confidence trick - a crime - is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust through deception. Got the same preprinted introduction. I was in a bad mood, told him’ ” lets cut through the chase, what do you want from me, how much and what for.?” Never heard from him again. Blogged.
HE IS STILL SCAMMING!!
I HAVE TALKED TO HIM AND I KNEW HE WAS A PHONY
He? You mean the General? Actually, you have never spoken to him. There are dozens (if not hundreds) of scammers that use his stolen photos.
I KNOW IT WAS A SCAMMERScammer A Scammer or Fraudster is someone that engages in deception to obtain money or achieve another objective. They are criminals that attempt to deceive a victim into sending more or performing some other activity that benefits the scammer. NOT THE REAL GENERAL!!!
Ok, that is good. Your original comment seemed to indicate something different
It is estimated that 85% of the crimes is not reported. People are ashamed and feel powerless. Don’t be. You are a victim of a criminalCriminal A criminal is any person who through a decision or act engages in a crime. This can be complicated, as many people break laws unknowingly, however, in our context, it is a person who makes a decision to engage in unlawful acts or to place themselves with others who do this. A criminal always has the ability to decide not to break the law, or if they initially engage in crime to stop doing it, but instead continues..
Be beware of your followers, or the ones you follow ore give your 1= to. The not always your friends. Some have beautiful communities, many followers, they just choose and pick who their next victim is. A German guy cussed me out in open net, under a friends post, than apologized send me flowers and wanted to love me outside google. I told him to by a one way ticked to the moon, and I catch up with him.-
I am currently playing him in Words with Friends. He has told me his wife died, he has a son in military school, is in Afghanistan on a peace-keeping mission, and longs for a wife who will love his son as her own. I’m still talking to him and playing dumb just to see what else he tries to say. Definitely not giving him any information or money, though!
I too had this scamScam A Scam is a confidence trick - a crime - is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their trust through deception. Scams or confidence tricks exploit victims using their credulity, naïveté, compassion, vanity, irresponsibility, or greed and exploiting that. A scam is a crime even if no money was lost.!! I allowed a two week period of time for this to develop- eventually he did ask for Google Cards in various amounts. This is a particularly horrific crime, impersonating an officer of the statute of the real Gen. Nicholson. I hope he is caught!! This has to be stopped. I emailed the Dept of Defence and told this story- they did get back to me and assured me steps would be taken.
I just got a friend request from him on FB a couple of days ago. I thought it was suspicious because I don’t have any ties to the military & didn’t know why he would friend me.
I checked out his FB page and it said he was a widower & serving in Afghanistan. His page looked like it had been recently created. I ignored his friend request. I feel bad for the real
Someone is now using his image on Instagram. I have 4 requests to follow him, all with different account names, all with same photos. It’s getting creepy.
Just found out that someone in Nigeria is using John Nicholson’s pictures as a catfishCatfish Catfishing, as it is commonly used, is a descriptive term for an activity where a person creates a fictional persona or fake identity on a social networking or dating service, usually targeting a specific kind of victim. The practice may be used for financial gain, to compromise a victim in some way, as a way to intentionally upset a victim, or for wish-fulfillment (as it was originally coined).
The term is now considered a derogatory term as it was originally coined to describe scams by women against men, lead. DO NOT RESPOND to anything from this man. The poor General needs to call Facebook. Delete all communication with him!
He is going by the name Johnson Graham Douglas now, LOL.
Yes I have seen and talked to this man. Under the name Josh Nicholson. We were fb friends. I only friend him because he was friends wirh one mutual friend. I am a married Christian. I was praying for him. Began to get curious if he was authentic. Did research and found he is a liar. I unfriend him and blocked him. He sure needs to be stopped. There are a lot of vulnerable women out there.
Right now scammerScammer A Scammer or Fraudster is someone that engages in deception to obtain money or achieve another objective. They are criminals that attempt to deceive a victim into sending more or performing some other activity that benefits the scammer. uses General pictures on Instagram . I recently connected with LT Gen John W Nicholson Jr on the 23 of Sept 2017. He said he was divorced and had a son named Mark, who needed money to go to school. The designed Twitter page of John Nicholson Jr. looked authentic to me. How he was in Afganistan was in his cabin, which was a little peculiar to me. I would love to catch this guy, using good American military men to manipulate women to get money from them, who so want to have a relationship with a real man. He sent me an account number and bank name, and I was to send the money to a Dafe S Ejoiro who was his son’s teacher in Africa. I wish I could help catch this guy. He still has the twitter page up. of course, I don’t speak with him often.
Yes there is a guy using his photos on a dating site called Shtyle…and I noticed that he is still there
My name is Elizabeth and I was contacted by a military man with that name and photo. I didn’t know the real John w Nicholson at that moment. He sent me even his code number, supposedly secret, since his commander from the Department of Defense, Ralph Wales, was, preparing his leave. It costed me almost 6,000usd. Up to the end of may he was claiming to be John Nicholson and that he was deceived by Mr. Ralp Wales he claims to also be a victim. Well, I was scammed and I’m paying that amount of money.
Elizabeth did he ever seen you any pictures of himself out of uniform and younger years and also pictures of his son tell you that he and his wife Noreen were divorced
He told me his wife died 3 years ago!!
