The SCARS Institute Encyclopedia of Scams

Twelve Years of Data
For more than twelve years, scam victims and volunteers reported the phone numbers, email addresses, names, and profiles that scammers used against them on AnyScam.com. That work now lives here, as the SCARS Institute AnyScam Database, rebuilt to make it easier to search, safer to use, and open to new reports.
Before you trust someone you met online, search for their phone number, email address, name, or profile link. You’ll see whether it has been reported to SCARS Institute, how often, and when. You can also read real messages that scammers have sent, with victims’ details removed, so you can learn to recognize their words before they reach you.
Help Protect Others
If a scammer contacted you, report their profile link, email address, or phone number. SCARS Institute staff review every report before it appears in the database.
Please keep in mind that a listing is a report, not proof. Scammers steal real people’s names and photos, and phone numbers pass from one owner to the next, so an innocent person can appear here. If something listed here belongs to you and is listed in error, use the removal request form at the bottom of this page, and we’ll review it. And if nothing turns up in your search, that doesn’t mean someone is safe: scammers change their numbers, addresses, and names constantly.

Since my divorce, I felt as if the world had fallen apart. For a long time after my divorce, I kept my life very small - work, home, very little socializing and definitely no dating, I just wasn't ready. It took me a long time to get through those dark days after my divorce - I never thought I can ever get over' something like that. Instead, I have to go through it and feel the pain so that I can eventually heal the spirit. But after a while, I realized that if I tried to keep my life small and safe so I wouldn't get hurt, I was also cutting myself off from feeling any joy again - because joy and pain are two sides of the same coin. So, gradually I allowed myself to emerge back into the real world again, and here Im my first attempt at online dating!
I hope to meet a decent woman who is looking for a serious relationship. Im not looking for fun. A real partner whom I would respect, love and pamper. When my time will come, I wouldn't choose anywhere else rather than being with her.I see you as a matured woman with a unique look and also a kind of fun to be around so I feel we can start as friends and see where it could lead us to.I really need a

I'm in a panic right now .... in February last year, I helped my mom with the purchase of the home. She did not have a large sum to buy a home and I have agreed to take a loan for 3 years on my name. Officially, I took a loan, and in fact my mom and me pays for it. She pays a monthly loan and have never missed a payment, so I was calm for it. After that, I never went to the bank and my credit history without violations. This is my first experience of credit, but I can not leave the country. Customs agent told me that I should have warned about such a situation, when I bought the tickets. I trying to explain my situation, tears right there and started screaming at them to me missed out on board the plane .... they do not want to listen, just explained to me that in our country we have such rules. And then I made a scandal, but the security service to quickly intervene in the situation. I was locked in his office, and after a few minutes I had a conversation with the head of security. He sympathized with me, but could not help me, by the time my plane flew away...
It's not fair to do this to people! ---VICTIM REDACTED---, I do not know if I can change the tickets for another flight or refund the money for it. I had to repay the loan in f

They were wire transfer names, addresses and banking informations.
I desperately would like to be in touch with proper officials who can dig deeper into this group, involving Nigerian names from UK, many Turkish names and Indonesians. Henry Wang may be a stolen identity. The scams started October 2020 and still trying (on going).
