Fragment Overlap Attack — A fragment overlap attack sends packet fragments whose data positions overlap. Different systems can interpret the conflicting contents differently, allowing an attacker to exploit inconsistent reassembly behavior. The technique can evade inspection or disrupt vulnerable systems.
