Crime script — A crime script maps the actions criminals use to prepare, carry out, and extend an offense. The romance scam script contains nine scenes, including grooming, financial demands, and the aftermath. Scammers move between scenes and repeat earlier tactics whenever a victim questions the story or resists payment. — Crime Analysis
