AnyScam™ Scam Search & Reporting

Twelve Years of Data

For more than twelve years, scam victims and volunteers reported the phone numbers, email addresses, names, and profiles that scammers used against them on AnyScam.com. That work now lives here, as the SCARS Institute AnyScam Database, rebuilt to make it easier to search, safer to use, and open to new reports.

Before you trust someone you met online, search for their phone number, email address, name, or profile link. You’ll see whether it has been reported to SCARS Institute, how often, and when. You can also read real messages that scammers have sent, with victims’ details removed, so you can learn to recognize their words before they reach you.

Help Protect Others

If a scammer contacted you, report their profile link, email address, or phone number. SCARS Institute staff review every report before it appears in the database.

Please keep in mind that a listing is a report, not proof. Scammers steal real people’s names and photos, and phone numbers pass from one owner to the next, so an innocent person can appear here. If something listed here belongs to you and is listed in error, use the removal request form at the bottom of this page, and we’ll review it. And if nothing turns up in your search, that doesn’t mean someone is safe: scammers change their numbers, addresses, and names constantly.

From the dates of 5 April to 25 May I’ve invested a lot which I feel like I’ve lost a lot of money and it’s a dreadful nightmare for me. I’ve initially been in contact with Becky the account manager. I am not happy with the services as they didn’t give enough information a long the way and it’s ill advised with lack of transparency. She keeps on insisting me to keep paying up which I now then refuse. Mr Rod had tried to help processing the transaction of profits which is still yet to come into my bank through Charlcu and I thought the process wasn’t successful. Tony has offered me $550 to be paid for the transaction of the profits to come into my Paypal to execute the sending process. I refuse to pay since I can’t justify why I need to pay for that transaction fee. I highly prefer to have a direct bank transfer through paypal. With the help of the FBI agent, its not really helping much.

They are asking me for some form of ID which I then refused just for personal security reasons.

Have reported to paypal as well.

Private Key Seller is part of the situation too and I consider him a big scammer too.

I can provide evidence of receipts, correspondence, emails screenshots and bank statements.

Travel time will 23h 45m. The total ticket price was $ 657. I had to use a credit card because after paying rent in Korea. I had almost no cash left. Arriving home, I realized and remembered that i'm do not have the right to leave the country with credit debt if the amount exceeds 495 $. This is strictly controlled at the border by customs officials. Me had to spend on paying for tickets 495 $ from a credit card, which is about $ 495 USD. Now, if I do not deposit $ 495 USD to my credit card before departure, I will be removed from the flight by border troops or not allowed to check in at all. Honey, you and I cannot allow this, our meeting is very important! Dear, the money that I previously earned and had, I have already contributed to the payment of rental housing in your country. You should know how strict the policy of long-term rental housing in the country is, given the Covid-19 situation! All this is very expensive and responsible .. I asked for help from my sister and friends, but no one can but right now they cannot help. Love, you are the only one I can turn to, could you help me and borrow $ 495? Upon, I will receive the spent expenses and can return the money to you. Dear, I am insanely embarrassed and ashamed, but I really did not imagine that such circumstances could get in our way. I blame myself for it was I who should have been more careful and calculate my expenses. But now, you are the only person who can help me. I ask you to treat my request with understanding and not to make hasty judgments, I really need your help. The only convenient way for me is the import of declared cash in the amount of $ 2970. According to the Immigration, Tourism and Citizenship Act, every applicant who applies is considered a potential immigrant. I must overcome this legal presumption

The woman who i wanted to marry cheated on me with my best friend ,so i believe things of the world comes when we less expect them i believe in fate.
I am from Korea but I live in New York City.
I am an engineering contractor by profession, so I travel a lot.
I am 40.
i am a very rich man.
I am currently working on a very huge contract proposal. I have been working on it for the past 12 weeks.
I will be done working on it soon and then submit it to the Government Department of Energy.
When the proposal is reviewed, If I am lucky enough, I would be invited for an interview/meeting by the American government.
And then, I would travel to the sea for 4 weeks, after which I will be given a 6 weeks vacation to travel anywhere in the world. And I'm thinking of coming to Japan to spend this vacation.

On February 15 I met someone online named Patricia Slaughter. We talked initially via email. She claimed to be raised in Australia now living in Portland but on vacation in England. On February 21, she claimed that her purse with all her money was stolen and she needed help buying a plane ticket to return to the U.S. She asked me to send money via bitcoin to pay for the rest of her hotel fees and her plane ticket. I asked for ID verification before giving any money, which she did by sending a photo of her passport and hotel bill I sent her the necessary money through simplex and Moonpay. She later said that the real reason she was in the UK was to retrieve her father’s inheritance, and sent me a photocopied letter of her probate as evidence.
She forwarded an email she sent me that claimed she needed to ‘unlock’ her inheritance by paying $10,000, and said she would give me $70,000 if I …

She forwarded an email she sent me that claimed she needed to ‘unlock’ her inheritance by paying $10,000, and said she would give me $70,000 if I paid the fee to unlock her inheritance. I paid the $10000 by sending the money via bitcoin. She then sent me a copy of a letter claiming that her inheritance could not be retrieved without paying $28000 in taxes. She said she would give me $90,000 if I paid the $28000 in taxes. I paid for the taxes along with some of her daily expenses. She gave me access to her bank account (royalstandard.org) containing the inheritance money, and I input my bank information to send the money to my bank account via wire. I later paid for her plane ticket and civil fine fee among various other expenses. She told me she bought a plane ticket back to the U.S. but was deported to her home country of Australia upon arriving in the US. I send all her documents to a private investigator who confirmed that all of her documents were fraudulent or photoshopped.
