For more than twelve years, scam victims and volunteers reported the phone numbers, email addresses, names, and profiles that scammers used against them on AnyScam.com. That work now lives here, as the SCARS Institute AnyScam Database, rebuilt to make it easier to search, safer to use, and open to new reports.
Before you trust someone you met online, search for their phone number, email address, name, or profile link. You’ll see whether it has been reported to SCARS Institute, how often, and when. You can also read real messages that scammers have sent, with victims’ details removed, so you can learn to recognize their words before they reach you.

Please keep in mind that a listing is a report, not proof. Scammers steal real people’s names and photos, and phone numbers pass from one owner to the next, so an innocent person can appear here. And if nothing turns up in your search, that doesn’t mean someone is safe: scammers change their numbers, addresses, and names constantly.

Scammer supposedly a 32-yr-old woman with a deceased mother & father (killed in an auto accident), from Canada by way of Great Britain, now living for past several years with 70-yr-old Grandmother in Ghana. Furthered the Scam from Uncle's (Grandmother's brother's) home in Austin, Texas, where visiting for the Christmas holidays; and possibly not returning to Ghana.

The summary of the chronology for this case is that the whole incident started off on 19th May 2022 up to 11th October 2022. According to Henry, he is on a 6 weeks project in Istanbul for constructing a Helipad under TTRAN Construction. And he met with an accident which he had to ship in new machine urgently. He was short of cash so he asked for my help. (All these are in the Telegram chat. I have the backup copies). This happen in the month of May and I did the transaction for him on 19th May 2022 via Bitcoin, Luno Exchange. Then, in the month of June, his account was ON HOLD after receiving the payment from his client in Istanbul upon completion of the Helipad project. He needed cash to pay up the 20% tax before the bank would REACTIVATE his account.
