# Scammer Training Ground In Ghana

Our research has found that a significant percentage of Romance Scammers originate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana

We think this is, in part, because for many this is the first time they have had full access to the internet.  While most or many of these scammers are using Internet Cafes, an examination of Fake Facebook profiles shows a huge number are from KNUST in Kumasi.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is a University in Kumasi, Ghana. It is the second public university established in the country as well as the second-largest University in Ghana.

When chatting with a Ghanaian, as if they attended KNUST.  If so, you have an important clue that they are a scammer, and more intelligent than the average!

We have to wonder, with SO MANY Dating Scammers at KNUST, if there may not be a full-scale scammer ring operating from within the University, or maybe even a faculty member supporting this activity!

## Attention Students And Faculty Of Knust!

If you don't like what we are saying, or believe we are wrong, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

Start a University campaign to expose the Scammers on Campus for what they are: CRIMINALS!  Show us that you all take this seriously, and maybe we will take you seriously.  But right now, we cannot find a single document or effort that shows you oppose online fraud, and with the numerous scammers from KNUST on Facebook, your reputation is trashed!

This article was written in 2015 after finding huge numbers of active scammers that said they were active students. We continue to find active scammers on social media that list themselves as student Kumasi school - for that reason we see no reason to change the original article.
