## A Tool To Help Family Members Of Victims In Denial To See The Truth

We had been asked several times if we have something that family members could share with a victim in complete denial.

We have our [Family Intervention Guide](https://romancescamsnow.com/dating-scams/rsn-guide-to-relatives-in-total-denial/) and this has helped many, but some victims cling so tightly to their fantasy that they are truly willing to forsake all family and friends in favor of their imaginary relationship. Even showing them proof that the photos are stolen, and the language is that of a scammer if not enough.

### However, it was suggested that we put in terms that present what is truly being lost.

## Here Is A Letter We Wrote To Help You Express Your Feelings With Your Family Member In Denial

We suggest you save and print this for them, even sign your name and have other family members sign it as well.

## **For Your Family Member:**

**Please Note: You have our permission to download and print this letter to help you express your feelings to your family member in denial, but not to publish, post, or disseminate this in any other way.**

## We would appreciate your feedback and if this helped you breakthrough the mania surrounding their scam.

### FAQ: How Do You Properly Report Scammers?

It is essential that law enforcement knows about scams & scammers, even though there is nothing (in most cases) that they can do.

**Always report scams involving money lost or where you received money to:**

1. **Local Police** - ask them to take an "informational" police report - say you need it for your insurance
2. Your **National Police or FBI** ([www.IC3.gov](http://www.IC3.gov))
3. The **Scars Worldwide Reporting Network** [HERE](https://www.romancescamsnow.com/how-to-report-scammers-fraudsters/) or on [www.Anyscam.com](http://www.Anyscam.com)

This helps your government understand the problem, and allows law enforcement to add scammers on watch lists worldwide.
