U.S. Government Shutdown Update January 5, 2018

As a result of Congress’ unwillingness to fund our national security (including cybersecurity), we received this from the United States Department of Homeland Security:

STC Partners,

Please note, that due to the current federal budgetary lapse and funding hiatus, certain STOP. THINK. CONNECT. Campaign engagements, including our Partner Call, are being deferred and/or canceled. As such, in fairness to both our private and public-sector partners, the next STC Partner Call scheduled for January 9th, 2019, is hereby canceled. If personnel within the agencies affected by the partial shutdown, including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, are reinstated to normal operations / duties, we will look to the first available opportunity, with adequate notice and coordination, for reconvening this activity. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time, and your continued commitment to the STOP. THINK .CONNECT Campaign.

Thank you,
