Other Observations About The Scammer:

Claims she is the daughter of a Ghanian mother and an American dad who died. Mom returned to Ghana at her age, 16, from Des Moines, IA. Lives in Accra, Ghana. Met online either t,zooskt or Has sent me photos and we have skyped daily for over a month. My son was suspicious of her photos, he is a photographer, and immediately showed me they were faked. Found her photos all over another website. Photos and Skype person match. Photos she supplied to me match photos on identified scam websites.

The tears of sadness I what I shear every day since you left my side. I don't really understand how wicked the world is. People that come around to cheat and lie is what I always encounter but now that I have found and fallen in love with a grown mature man everyone keeps asking why? You didn't remember to ask why when I was single and heartbroken now all you left me is to be thinking oh God please if this is how am going to lice for the rest of my life why don't you take me out the sooner the better because I find this world too bitter for me to live in. I have been sending you messages through Skype, Email, and tried calling you but I guess you never seen wipe away my tear. Why don't you tell me to give up on you because you promise you will get back to me and that's what gives me the fate and keeps me waiting. Just whisper a word to me Tazz. Yours Zainab misses you. I truly mean my words I gave you. And it hurt me so Much to lose you. Just remember not everyone in Ghana is bad or involves in Bad business. I guess there are bad people everywhere in the world and even in the State so why do you take advantage of my country to judge me. Am not a bad person. And now the question am been ask how is the plan moving on between you and your husband to be how do I answer that. I just introduce you to them and can't talk about you again. It hard for me to step outside because my beauty has turn me into shame. I love you and wants to spend the rest of my life with you.

Other Observations About The Scammer:

This man had a very convincing profile on with pics of a vey handsome man, although the age of 50 did not match the man in the pics who looked to be in his early to mid 40s. When I questioned him about this he told me he was Irish and that everybody said that and that it must be good genes. He will contact his marks by telephone and speak with them. He is a very good listener and very kind and supportive and very patient. He started contacting me in February and it is now June and I only just realized that he was a scammer! He appears to travel a lot. When he first contacted me he was using a cell phone from Richmond Hill in Ontario Canada. He then travelled for business and called from a number in British Columbia. He then travelled again for business and called from a mobile phone in Austin, Texas. The latest was his travel to Cape Town which I suspect is his home base as some of the email IP addresses are from there. He called me from a mobile phone registered in South Africa. This man is very convincing. If he makes a mistake - once he texted me with the name of another woman - he knows how to manipulate the situation so that you feel bad for doubting him. He claims to have an 8 year old son with pics to support this and will use this to try to get money from his marks. When he was in Austin he told me that his son had gotten food poisoning and needed surgery and he was short on money because he had put all his assets into a construction job he was doing there. He appears to have some knowledge of construction industry and has very elaborate stories and will try to convince you that he has a lot of money, assets etc. He claimed to own 2 Ferraris. If you show any signs that you believe him, even if you doubt him at some point, he will tell you that he is a man of integrity and make you feel terrible for ever doubting him. It is best to cut off all contact. The last contact I had with him was a phone call from a cell phone in South Africa. He didn't waste any time even though we hadn't spoken for several weeks. He told me that he had to travel in person to Cape Town to sign papers in person in order to get the money for the job he completed in Austin. Then he said his bank in Toronto would not accept payment because he had so much debt and asked for my account information so that he could get his money! He is very persistent and will not give up easily if you show any signs that you are sympathetic towards him. He always has plausible deniability on his side but I did notice that he never speaks in much detail. If you ask hard questions he will falter. This is a huge red flag. I also suspect that he is working with a group of others as the IP addresses from the many emails I received came from a number of locations including Florida, Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pennsylvania. The grammar in the emails was odd and very different from the text messages I received which led me to suspect that it is a group of people running a scamming operation and they likely have many marks. I have noticed that his profile has been removed from

Other Observations About The Scammer:

He is NOT from Minneapolis,MN,nor in the Army overseas in West Africa. His vocabulary is not of someone from America, much lessMinnesota. He messages single women, schmooze them, then tells them to message each other on the "Kik" app. Eventually,he will asked to get him a $50 iTunes card because he is having phone problems. His profile/cover pics are from the FB profile of Jason Dean of Mississippi. Jason Dean is aware of Dean Berriman's FB profile, but apparently don't seem to care, which I find very strange.Makes me wonder if they are the same person.

I also became a target Scammer, he confessed named “Scott Lees” with email [email protected] and skype [email protected], the contents of emails and photos he sent me the same as the Scammer on James Robert – robertjames1920 @ outlook .com, It looks like he changed his name from “James” to “Scott Lees” because I experienced this about 5 days ago. His chat was very polite, after 1 month we chat in email, he asked for money to redeem his father’s late employment contract in Malaysia. Since then I find out, and it turns out the original owners of these photos are politicians and businessmen from Poland. I immediately blocked him. this his phone number in WhatsApp now +46 73 724 25 18
    and Malaysian number +601131072118
seem he got Sweden number from google. and asked me to send money for agent Petronas “KAMAL AZIMIN BIN ABD BASHAH”. Maybe his real name is KAMAL AZIMIN BIN ABD BASHAH

I befriended a beautiful Filipino woman and have been chatting her for about two months now. She didn’t ask me for money but told me raising two children was very difficult for her being she earned few pesos monthly. I told her i would send her $50.00 but she refused and said she could handle her situation on her own. I finally convinced her to accept money and she agreed. She told me her mother has bone cancer and needed 4000pesos to see a doctor. I told her that i would send her 4000pesos to help but she told me it was not my responsibility or obligation to help later her phone malfunctioned and we kept getting disconnected she told me when she chatted me her phone would get very hot and turn off. She told me her phone battery was swelled up and she had to hold the back on her phone while we chatted this went on for a few weeks. So i told her i would buy her a new phone so we could chat but she told me she would work day and night to buy a new phone. I insisted to buy her a new phone and to help her mother she accepted and i sent her $160.00 to her. I want to say i’m a very ugly and fat man with a big heart. She says she loves me not with her eyes but with her heart and wants us to get married soon. She has told me what she wants from me. She says she wants a man who will take care of her and two children and get her children a good education and a bright future. I know she is not a catfish because i have hundreds of photo’s of her and children. I’m having a hard time believing a 24yr old women could love a 59yr old ugly fat man. She is a gorgeous woman and could have any man she wanted but she says she doesn’t want a young playboy but wants a serious man. She tells me she loves because she feels comfortable with me and loves the way i treat her. I must admit despite being ugly as hell i’m an expert at whooing a woman. I know just what to say and do. Does this woman sound like a scammer to you?

Mate I am the man who put “Victoria Edney” here as a scammer – if you do go on Skype you will never ever see her and her excuse will be ” my camera must not be working” – ” my laptop is very old” and “I will have to get it checked”. You will only ever be able to text her on Skype – go ahead give it a try and I bet you this is exactly what will happen because the scammer I believe is a Nigerian scammer sitting in an internet café – you just have to read the messages and email to know that the English is not only poor grammatically but it is a joke really – “talk out the messages and emails and you will sound like an African person speaking English – I have a good mate who is a black African man and he even says it sound like himself when he talks English !!

I actually found the real life woman whose pictures this scammer took from her Instagram page ( a bit of investigating work and Google Images made it quite easy to locate the real woman and victim of this scam. I found her work contact in the United States ( she is a hairdresser and I managed to find her on her workplace website) and she has been notified of this scammer using her images. She has since made her Instagram “profile “private”.

Who ever listed Oskar Hernando Correa on here is 100% correct, I brought him here to America along with his 2 children from Colombia in a fiancée visa, I thought I knew him I visited him multiple times in Colombia first…NOPE, he arrived in America Nov 2 2015, WD married November 28, 2015…I found our many things shortly after ( 3 days) after our marriage, he scammed me horribly and also abused me in everyway. This is a long horrible story…but now divorcing him after a short marriage of 4 months…I want him and his children deported, WD are not even divorced yet but I left him one month ago, ladies he is still out there scamming…be aware, he wants to stay in the USA, he is trying to find a wife fast because he knows I am divorcing him and shortly after that he is suppose to be deported. He won’t be deported because he will hide, ladies he wants his “Green Card” for residency… I have been getting private messages on face book, he is asking women to marry him w/o even meeting him only online, he is determined to get his Green Card, he is not even divorced yet… He is in Sarasota, fl

Lana, which of the reported scammers were you referring to? Which one of them is really Oskar Hernando Correa?

    • BMM May 27, 2016 at 5:20 am - Reply

RE: Oscar Hernando Correa Fernando) I was the lady he tried to scam before Lana. This is so sad he is doing this again and again to other women, and he is trying NOW to get another woman to marry when his divorce finalizes, the abuse, lies and scamming of thousands of dollars and broken hearts and homes, yes he is VERY smooth and charming and he will continue to do whatever he has to get what he wants with no regard for the well being of who he hurts/uses, or his children. The children are the ones caught in the middle and are getting hurt too and this is the most heartbreaking to me. I have lost thousands of dollars to this man, please ladies ,listen to the reports ,he is a very deceptive and cruel man, and will cause much pain to other women . Report him to the INS, and do everything you can to make sure of his deportation,if you report him as he is lying to get a Green card, they can detain him , DO THIS RIGHT AWAY !!!! Or he will run and disappear to another part of the US and have fake ID’S made and can be almost impossible to find later. Please share this and make reports and post his photos on every social media possible so he will be brought to justice, deported and stopped! Google his name and you will see many reports on him, also here is a couple links for the INS for info and to contact to report him:,

I am currently in contact with Victoria Edney through her email [email protected] We met on the dating site When I had a look for her on Facebook I was confronted with a notice under your banner stating she is a scammer. When I followed your link I found the same person had been listed by another name as well: Vicky Lucia Vige with email [email protected]. So far in our communication there has been no hint of a scam. She tells me she produces high quality jewelry from precious stones and has sent photos of them. I am curious enough to continue our communication to see what sort of a scam she is running. Can I ask what sort of scam she has been involved with in the past so I know what to look for? She has already asked me to go on skype but I have avoided this so far by saying my skype has not been used for years and needs upgrading.

So, are you going to be smart and stop arguing about her being a scam, or accept what is in front of you? This is how people make a choice sometimes and become a scammer. It is up to you to decide.

  11. Matthew J Smith March 19, 2016 at 11:09 pm - Reply

Hello, my name is Matthew, I am from Australia and I was targeted by a scammer. One of the things that set off alarm bells for me was his sudden profound declaration of love for me, (yes I am gay and we get targeted as well). He stole the identity from a US military Sergeant. Matthew Reeder is the guy who had his identity stolen. I was curious and did an internet search and found him, but this scammer guy had his name spelt Mathew with one T, that set off alarm bells. I played along, professing my love for him, but I can never fall in love with a picture on the internet no matter how much they sweet talk me. After about four weeks of chatting he made the mistake of asking for $100. He told me since he is on a peace keeping mission in afghanistan that his bank account is locked and that’s why he needed money, that set off even more alarm bells. I have since deleted google hangouts that we used to chat on and no longer communicate with him. What has me concerned is the pictures of myself that I gave him, they are not rude or anything but I am worried he may use them for future scams. Also another thing that was a concern about him was the pics he sent me were repeats of the same pic, and he never answered some questions, choosing to change the subject instead, and also he didn’t understand some regular US/Aussie slang. I was nearly fooled and was so close to sending him the money, but as soon as he mentioned western union that was it, his scam failed. I feel really bad for this poor innocent guy who has had his identity stolen. So a word of warning! Anybody on the internet can have their identity stolen! Especially facebook users, so be cautious who you befriend and who can see your pictures. Also watch out for Grammar errors. A US Sergeant would have much better grammar. One last thing, the email he used was [email protected]. I hope this information will help some people avoid future heartache and put a stop to these lowlife criminals.

A shrink…’s Hard. But like alcoholism. You have to admit it…you have. To cope with it . ..accept it deal with it. …I find now I hate …and am bitter…about it …reporting them gives me a sense of satisfaction ..if I can help one person to not get scammed I feel a victory. They will all get there punishment in the end I beleave this ..everyone who is scammed please try too help other victims …thank you …

I think you are brave and I don’t think you are stupid, scammers are very good at manipulating and grooming victims. People who haven’t been scammed, or don’t realise they have been scammed are quick to judge and make derisory remarks. However, many people from all walks of life have been victims.
If we weren’t being psychologically manipulated then we wouldn’t be victims.
I lost a huge amount of money, but I am recovering. I have reported the scammer and his associates to as many authorities and websites as I can. I don’t know if I can make a difference by trying to spread awareness but I am trying.
Thank goodness there are forums and places like this where we can tell our story and warn others.
Let the hate go, it will destroy you and not make a difference to the scammer, find love for yourself and build on that, one day at a time, slow and steady, sending you Peace.

Faith Jane Erah- pathetic Nigerian scammer who stole Josie Ann Miller model photos is now trying to bully, harass and threaten victims who have helped to reveal this scammer. She sent text to victims that read “Stupid idiot , it will be better if you remove everything about me you put on Facebook, because am the real Miller talking to you, but now I don’t want anything to do with you, and I already beg on the Angel of dead to deal with you.
Because I talk to the Angel- good heart”

In reality, this pathetic delusional scammer Who goes by Faith Jane Erah should ask their Angel to put them out of their own misery as it would serve the public justice.

All I have to say is anyone that lonely to send someone that have never met online even and in another country/state needs to have there money taken away if your that dam dumb. My goodness you cannot blame the scammers if is that easy to show a few naked pictures are to tell you how beautiful are handsome you are and then you send them money how dumb can you be. Are you that lonely. Get a life and stay off of the romance sites. Find someone in your own town. Just remember they will tell you just what you want to hear anything to send them money. They are professional hustlers. Now I agree it does not make it legal but the more of you who fall for the scammers lies the more they will fish the internet because it is easy money. How do you even know that it is there picture? It could be a call room with about 20 people working in it getting money from every one of you every day and making a commission. Please think more of your self than you do. Leave those people alone and get a life.

Judy, clearly you don’t understand anything about the online dating process or what victims go through. Yes they should have been smarter, but your comments are insulting.

Judy sounds like a scammer. Terrible grammer, rude, insensitive and sounds like she is above all. I never sent money. Didn’t believe most of what he said. But i entertained him until I was positive he was a fake. But some people do want love so anyone that did fully get scammed shouldn’t have to read judy’s rudeness. And never feel bad that you wanted to believe that there may be an honest person on earth

I hope someone will be able to identify the romance scammer that I reported. He says his name is Mark Looney, I really doubt that is his real name. His cell phone number is listed on some of reverse phone lookups, as being “scam”. He is still wanting me to send him money. Hopefully someone will see these pictures and be able to identify him.

You need to accept that you are being scammed and move on. In most cases you will never know the real identity of the scammer. It’s just the way it is.

Hey the name is Steve and I have been talking to this chick how says that she lives in Ft.Collins Colorado with her uncle and that she had lost both of her parents with in two years, she goes by the name Samira Johnson. She calls from a phone that can’t be called back. She’s asked me for me and I stoppedly gave it to her. And she’s currently in Accura Ghana on family visit for the holiday’s. The numbers she calls from is 1-484-469-5756. And the other number she called me from is something I’ve never seen before(233242133959).this is the number of her uncle in Ghana and goes by the name, Ibrahim Abdul Rahim and the name of her uncle were she says she live in Colorado is Michael Pedersen. So I hope this helps and some of the pic’s if not all of them have been of Jenessa Brazil that she’s sent me. Asked her why she had pic of a porn star and she gave me the excuse of that she use to modle and that when she got fired she said that modleing agency sold her photos to various industries and that she had sued them to take all pics down and of different sites and shit. But all moat every pic she sent I Google searched it. And even a senna Lopez came up she’s got a twitter account.
