OMG, this one takes the cake!

I have never seen one as overtly stupid as this one.  This is the old-school Nigerian Money Scam style.  They must really be hurting in this down economy to revert to this approach.

Scammer Profile Text:

Religion is very important to me. I am a very spiritual person, but only discovered religion a few years ago. I was raised secular and am still trying to fit the pieces of religion together.

One of my main goals in life is to attain a state of complete comfort with myself, while attaining proper balance of all my extreme personality traits.

I am a very curious person.

I have a very intense personality. I need both order and chaos. I am very spontaneous but at the same time I need structure. (A balance is sought after, but for now there are extremes.)

This is a dating site profile?

Scammer Message:

From Mrs Beatriz Yuri.
REPLY ME BACK WITH THIS EMAIL ID. ([email protected]

My name is Beatriz Yuri, The wife of Albert Yuri who was
coordinator of Bayan Muna for Misamis Oriental and Chairman of
MOFA. He was gunned down and killed in our home in the Philippine
on July 20th, 2008. Before my late husband was killed, I inherited
from his estate a total sum of ($ 9.5 Million Dollars) in a
metallic trunk box and deposited it in a security and finance
company ABROAD. This deposit was coded under a secret arrangement
as a family treasure.
I hope that you can be trusted, that you will not sit on this money
when you claim it. I have made up my mind to give you 15% of the
total money for your help, after you have secured the box for my
children’s future.
I can be contacted with my most private email address:
([email protected]
Hoping to hear from you soon,
Best regards
Mrs Beatriz Yuri.

I can’t believe this approach in a dating site.  This is the kind of crap that they pull in their stupid emails.  Yet, these pull in hundreds of millions of dollars a year, because people are stupid.

The above name and message is written as though it is from the Philippines, yet the last name is a Nigerian or Japanese last name.  This appears to be a new one though, since Google doesn’t know it.  So watch out!

In the message above, she is admitting that she was part of the radical Islamist organization in the Southern Philippines, yet this is the standard Nigerian 419 Money Fraud format.

Note the use of the word “Philippine” as in singular.  Philippines is always plural, and anyone from there would not have made that mistake.

My name is Jeff and I reside in Texas..I have been reading all your letters about the scammers and I tell you I have stories out the Wazoo for you I never went on a dating site but my name ended up on it and in a matter for days I had 67 women contact me guess we’re from Donna I never knew that X Playboy Bunny was so down on your luck she ended up going and living in Ghana. I am sure Mr. Hefner would have never allow that. these girls are so stupid of course by stealing pictures of women and have not a clue of who those women are. My other one was you’ll get a kick out of this one every one of them had their mother and father killed in a car wreck they were only they only the only child and her closest relative lived in Ghana I must have been told that story I’ll probably have half the time of all the girls have contacted me the other half was exactly like somebody made a comment on all those monies are down you’re collecting money from a long-lost father from a gold mine or the oil rig or something and can we help him yet I’ve heard it all . But I will say this they are very very persistent you block him next thing you know when your getting an invite on some other name in a matter of seconds I mean it’s just incredible once I get on my Facebook it was it was really nice and again I go back to say I never join that site it took me three weeks to get my name off of it after I called him and I blame them for not screening people or at least try to screen them . And last but not least their cell phone numbers they all seem to have United us cell phone numbers I still can’t figure that one out yet how they get those numbers but of course you can talk to it that’s what they say they’ve dropped the phone in the water and they gonna stay the night every other feature on your phone works except for the voice so you can hear which we know is a bunch of crap but anyway because they know what you heard your voice but I suppose you’re from North Carolina I’ll take you pick up on it. Well again thank you guys for all the information hopefully I can help to take care

Yep it certainly is, but unfortunately for you the proof is all here. Plus “She” is listed on several other scammer sites. But thank you for the irate comment, it boost our search rankings.

By the way to our readers, the above comment was routed through three different proxy servers to hide it origin unsuccessfully.

Hey there! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers?
I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.
    Any suggestions?
