ActionFraud is the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime where you should report fraud if you have been scammed, defrauded, or experienced cybercrime in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The ActionFraud service is run by the City of London Police working alongside the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) which is responsible for the assessment of the reports and ensuring that your fraud reports reach the right place. The City of London Police is the national policing lead for economic crime through the ActionFraud service.

Where to get help with scams:
If you have made a payment in response to a scam, contact your bank as soon as possible as they may be able to recover some of your money and will refund you in certain circumstances.

England & Wales
